  People say lightning doesn’t strike twice in the same place. Sadly on Sunday it did, the place, the great sport of boxing. Lightning in the form of tragedy struck first in the morning when former world champion Paul Williams suffered a terrible accident while riding his motorcycle in Atlanta, Georgia. As we know, it has been common for athletes to suffer accidents riding motorcycles, the late Diego Corrales comes to mind. This time the victim of this rush for motorcycles was Williams, who is now paralyzed as consequence of the accident. Paul was riding his motorcycle on his way to one of his brothers’ house to get ready for another brother’s wedding, he moved out of his lane to avoid a car that was moving into that lane, but then he noticed another car that was coming in the other direction in that same lane, Williams swerved to avoid the incoming car and lost control of the bike, flying several feet into the air and landing on his back on the road, one of the drivers of the other cars called 911.
