What is your assessment of Danny Garcia, I know Golden boy were grooming Amir to win this fight and maybe get the shot at your nephew and current p4p king Floyd Jr but now he threw a spanner in the works is he an option to face Floyd do you think?  Garcia why not he earned the right all he did was shut Amir up about a fight he had no chance of winning anyway but if Lopez can fight Canelo why not Garcia Mayweather

We last spoke over a month ago where you stated you were sitting back and letting immediate family visit Floyd first, have you spoke with him or heard anything about how he is doing, I know there was talk of the un fair treatment and conditions that he is being objected to? I still haven’t talked to him but I have been writing him once a week and from the people whom have got a chance to see him said he was in good spirits and of course has made the necessary adjustments to deal with his current situation

Back to Garcia what do you think will be next for him names like Zab Judah have been thrown around would you like to see that match up, how would that one go down in your opinion?   Judah will be idea it’s a great fight for them both Philly vs New York only a bridge separate the two and the fight should sale out who would win it’s a tossup but I lean toward Judah because of his hand speed and he’s probably the stronger since he campaigned at Welterweight but I want sleep on Garcia either he’s young and should only get better

Is Danny Garcia the next super star in boxing?  In a rematch would anything be different?   Beating Amir Khan doesn’t make you a superstar he’s never done anything to be called a superstar He isn’t even a superstar in his own country let alone in the United States Ricky Hatton was a superstar Amir Khan hasn’t even had a P.P.V fight superstars are on P.P.V not regular H.B.O What would happen in a rematch is jumping the gun and automatically assuming he will beat Zab.

What has been going on at the Mayweather gym, I know Mike Jones has been rumoured to be putting in work do you think he can come back?  The gym is busy as always Mike Jones doesn’t train where I train well I think he’s a guy whom had his opponents well picked for him how good he is I don’t know but if he was as good as advertised he should have beaten Randall Bailey

Are there any other new faces in the Mayweather gym that we don’t know about?  Not really same old faces but I’m getting calls all the time from various fighters or their managers about training with me

Who are you working with at the current moment are you preparing anyone for a fight?  I’m not really working with anyone preparing for a fight too soon I will be working with Derrick Smoke Gainer making another run at it , Kevin Kingpin Johnson , Celestino will be back soon hopefully and a few young up and comers


So Finally I got to touch on Floyd Jr very quickly August 3^rd is his release date will he get straight back in to the gym do you think?  No I think he will enjoy freedom for a little while before he goes to the gym plus every city in America want to give him a Coming Out Party I have been contacted by at least five different cities

He is complaining of dehydration and muscle loss, will this have any long term effect on his health?  I think he will be just fine like anything else it’s only bad until you learn to make adjustments and when you wake up every day and you’re not going anywhere you accept your situation

Presuming he does fight again the logical Oppositions would be Saul Alvarez or a Miguel Cotto rematch, who would you like your nephew to face? Cotto for what he just beat him Alvarez would make more sense even though I feel Floyd should be fighting at 147 because he’s not a Jr Middleweight

A name that people are forgetting is presuming Devon Alexander beat Randall Bailey on September 8th for the IBF 147 strap a unification is a possibility I think, this would be a great match up what do you think of Devon as a fighter could he be a good challenge for Floyd?  Well what you just said is the reason why the fight probably wants happen neither guy brings nothing to the table when you’re talking about P.P.V numbers Floyd wants to fight someone that can enhance the value of the P.P.V Event, once you reach his level it’s a business sometimes even just as important as the fight itself
